Pastor Zondo: I refuse to attend Zuma’s celebration

PASTOR Sthembiso Zondo corrects any misinformation.

The contentious clergyman and well-known inspirational speaker has dispelled speculations that he has joined the uMkhonto Wesizwe (MK party) of Jacob Zuma, the previous president of South Africa. This comes amid rumors that he had joined the MK and was participating in the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality near Port Shepstone by election push with Judge John Hlophe and other party leaders on September 11th.

Pastor Zondo first gained notoriety as an inspiration for Ukhozi FM. However, he rose to prominence after the radio station fired him due to an unreleased video of him in his underwear. The popular inspirational speaker, known for his motto “Zero to Hero,” shared his suspicions with Daily Sun that an individual is trying to harm him. “My life was ruined by the nude video, and I had to start again. It hurts that someone is still trying to defame me. I’m connected to a political party that I haven’t joined since I’m not involved in politics, but I haven’t joined the MK. I was trying to restart my career as a motivational speaker,” he stated.

Pastor Zondo claims that the thing that pained him the most was that a few weeks prior, he had been invited to participate in and speak as an inspirational speaker on Ukhozi FM’s midmorning show, Jabulujule. Although he had hoped that Ukhozi FM would accept him back, false rumors started to circulate.

“From Tuesday, 10 September my phone was overflowing with calls from fans as well as individuals congratulating me and I had to disappoint them that I have not joined a political party,” stated the politician.
