BIOGRAPHY

Khumbulani Kubheka is a talented maskandi artist known greatly for his amazing vocals. He is also known as a choreographer, dancer and backing vocalist for maskandi legend ThokozaniLanga. He was born and raised in Bergville, KZN Midlands, South Africa. He is loved and respected in maskandi music industry. He speaks English and primarily Zulu language.

CAREER

Khumbulani career started at a very tender age. He loved music and is inspired by it. He always sees himself as a great artist in the nearest future. Being a child born from Bergville, KZN Midlands, he so opportunist as his parents gave him some listening ears and supported him in his dream. His family also loves listening to Maskandi music too.

While growing up, he joined so many bands and even performed at local joints. He listens to maskandi music frequently and never missed an event held in his community. Apart fro maskandi music, he also sings umbhaqanga songs. He has previously worked with  Abakhwenyana, Themba Ngwenya, the late Bhekumuzi Luthuli, Ofeleba, Thokozani Langa and many others.

Khumbulani started working with “Thokozani” band at an early stage which was in the year 2007. He worked so well with them and was hired due to his great performance in choreographer and so many other skills. He was so good with his vocal.

While still in music, he released some amazing songs which includes Ifa Likababa, Abantabami, Lovey Wami, Iphupho, Kusukela Namhlanje, Ivosho Ifa, Abasekweni, Malume, Isandla Somndeni, Isandla Somndeni which was under his 2021 album titled “Isandla Somndeni”

AGE

Khumbulani was born in the year 1981.

EDUCATION

Khumbulani went to school in his community Bergville and furthered his education at Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

DEATH

Khumbulani suffered a great cause of death. He passed on the 6th of February Hospital in KZN after struggling to survive a brief illness. The entertainment industry is currently in sorrow for Soul Brothers bassist Scelo Ndlela, who passed away on the 6th of February, and his passing is yet another setback.
