Vuyolwethu Ndodela who is a 55 years old, stated that the purpose of the event was to introduce Khayelitsha to a different facet. “Khayelitsha is well known for its drawbacks. Such occurrences give us hope and inform people that good things are occurring in this region,” he remarked.

Zweli Nokhatywa of Zibonele FM stated that the nonviolent gathering met its objectives. “There were no instances of individuals fighting. The goal was to make them happy and give them a break from their hard work,” he stated.
