BIOGRAPHY
Johnny Dimba was an amazing maskandi artist popularly known on stage as Dimba. He hails from Malvern, Durban in KwaZulu-Natal. He was a well talented maskandi artist with his wonderful vocal and other skill he had. He made a great name in the music industry and have a lot of fans. He is also a famous song writer of maskandi hit. He was also a known entertainment lawyer. He also sings isiZulu romantic songs.
CAREER
Dimba career started at a very early stage in life. At his very young stage, he grew more interested in music. As a child that was raised in an environment filled with music, he grew more motivated. He listened to some performances at his community square which was performed by maskandi legends back then. When he was about 13years of age, his family were forced to move to KwaMashu by the the apartheid government. This event happened in the year 1966.
He grew more in love with music and journeyed into singing and writing songs. He got more hits and highlights from his friends and families who where his backbone. He gave him some words of advice and also listened to him when he composes his own song. From his small practice, he became perfect. He wrote more songs and sang so many songs.
As he grew to his youthful age, he became well known in the music industry. His song were sold in some music shops in Cassette and CDS. He grew up in his career performing in so many events. He once performed at the launch of the Johnny Dimba Creative Centre, which is associated with the KwaZulu-Natal United Music Industry Association (KUMISA). KUMISA is a programme that offers an Artist Management Master class, Music Publishing Master class, Music. He wrote popular hit songs in Zulu.

Dimba was born in the year 1953.
EDUCATION
Dimba is very literate. He went to primary education in his community Malvern and furthered his education at Durban. He got BProc and LLB law degrees from the universities of Zululand and Venda.
DEATH
Dimba lived from 1953-2015. He died at the age of 62 after battling a serious illness. some also claimed that the illness was a brief one. The KZN, Family and friends mourned his death. He passed on on a Friday at the City Hospital in Durban.
He still remains a legend in the music industry and his song is continued played and sold.
