Maskandi Star Khuzani lost a family member
Khuzani is a popular maskandi artist who just lost his grandmother. Cagwe Mpungose who is khuzani’s grandmotherdied after suffering from a brief illness. She was so dear to him as she was the one that brought him up after his parents passed away. He took her as his own mother since he was little.
The tragic story came to him when he was contesting for the top 10 on Umhlobo Wenene FM at IngomaYonyaka. During the program, as the news reached him he was shocked to release he have no one left and the woman that raised him as his mother was no more. Cagwe Mpungose who is 88 years old passed at her home in Nkandla, north of KwaZulu-Natal on Monday, 23 December. She have been receiving several treatments and couldn’t stand the pain again.
Khuzani loved his grandmother so much that he once customized her name “Cagwe” on his new Ford Everest Platinum. This happened in the year 2023. He also customized her name in most of his cars due to the love he has for her.
He never took her for granted and cared and loved her so much which so many witnessed the love and affection they shared. He even built her a lovely home where she tragically passed away in.
He saw his grandma as his dearest friend, teacher, and protector in addition to being his grandma. He expressed more gratitude for the amazing influence she has had on his daily activities. He talked about how Mom worked hard to make sure he developed into the person he is now. How her encouragement, affection, and advice molded him in ways he can never quite articulate. Even though his heart is sad, he will always be thankful for the time they had spent.
He has morn his grandma bitterly as it will eventually affect him and his future shows. He has once mentioned that he wont be attending some shows till further notice as he want to morn his mentor well.
He has apologized in advance to his Fans and public as he will miss some amazing shows due to the tragic event which has befall him and has promised that his absence wont be long.
