Maskandi Star Khuzani make shocking news to the public

Voting is nearly over for “Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka,” the song that will be released on December 31st, marking the transition from 2024 to 2025. As usual, the drama surrounding the Ukhozi FM Song of the Year has started before the voting even starts.

The following comes after Khuzani Mpungose who is an amazing, talented and popular Maskandi musician who won song of the year in 2021 and last year and further announced that he had officially decided to stop participating in Ukhozi FM competitions after exhausting all other options.

Speaking live on social media platform on Friday night, Mpungose stated that he had to make this choice because Sbongi Ngcobo and that the business manager of Ukhozi FM had done all in his power to block his path.

According to the Ijele hitmaker, he decided to liberate the SABC and the presenters and producers of Ukhozi FM because he didn’t want anybody else to feel under pressure equal to just as Ngcobo didn’t want him. According to him, Ngcobo could be attempting to demonstrate that she had no connection to him at all by doing this.

According to Mpungose, Ngcobo’s actions followed accusations that he had contacted her after his song titled UmjoloLowo which the won song of the year. He also added that some individuals claimed the station was getting bribes in connection with the song of the year contest. According to the organizer of the yearly Gcwalisa Picnic it was made known that there have been  rumors that Ngcobo and the well-known station were supporting the cause.

Since I was aware that it was untrue, I chose not to take it personally. I interpreted that as the same thing that occurs when a team wins then, the referee will be blamed by others. Since I was aware that it was untrue, I chose not to take it personally. I interpreted that as a similar event that occurs when a team wins its the same to the referee  being blamed by others.

Ngcobo and the vocalist of Inja Nogodo deny ever being romantically involved. He said that he wanted to see Maskandi music flourish and that he made the declaration without malice. “I was suspected of having communication with MaNgcobo, which is when my issue began. It reached a point where it was stifling me, particularly on MaNgcobo’s end. He claimed, “I believe she felt pressured to the point where she had to decide that she did not want anything that might connect me with Ukhozi FM because the rumors would spiral.” At the time I was accused of winning because I was in contact or had a connection with her.

He said that Ukhozi FM just began playing his album Aliboli Icala in April of this year, despite it having been published in December of last year. He said that while he and artist Lwando “Jumbo” Nyangiwe published a song in September, Ukhozi FM had never broadcast it. According to him, the King Zoso who is a well known  content creator who would have made provision during weekend gig tips on the radio, was fired for mentioning him. According to him, King Zoso was informed that he was not permitted to discuss the musician on a weekly basis.

According to Mpungose, Ngcobo supposedly stated that Khathide “Tshatha” Ngobe shouldn’t be permanently on the slot because he was the musician’s buddy when Ngobe took over the maskandi program, Sigiya Ngengoma, following the death of Bheka Mchunu in March.

Many wished to know why I had a dispute with the head of the station, who didn’t want to interact with me. We connected with SABC Sport and requested a position there once we began jamming to soccer over time. We discussed the Sigiya Ngengoma soccer matches last year, but this year the producers informed me that the station head had stated that she did not want anything involving Khuzani. We were unable to discuss the matches on the broadcast.

She is also aware that what I am saying is the truth. I asked for a meeting with her and the other Ukhozi FM supervisors since I felt like this was beginning to affect me. The 34-year-old said that the encounter took place just over two months ago, and he asked her what went wrong, but she only acknowledged King Zoso’s accusation. The people who went home with the award said that Ngcobo hurried to amend the top 10 nomination guidelines after learning that Mpungose intended to publish his music.
