Khethang Hlalele is an amazing and talented south african born maskandi artist. His real name is Khethang Hlalele. He was born and raised in Lesotho, Quthing District. He is actually the first born in his family. Khethang Hlaleleis so passionate and skillful in music. Apart from being an amazing musician artist, he is also a music producer, songwriter, music composer, and arranger. He has over 15 years of his life dedicated to music. He has made his name so great in the music industry.
Khethang Hlalele aspiration in music line started when he was a teen. He has always dreamed of becoming a successful musician. Khethang Hlalele’s musical journey started in the year 2007. In that year 2007, he published his first album which he titled “Quthing ho ea Seaka no.1. It was hit song during that year.
Over the years, he continued to produce hit songs. His second album was Quthing ho ea Seaka no.2 which was released in 2008. He has featured so many artists and equally been featured too. He has partnered with other amazing legends in the Basotho music genre.
Finally, under the direction of his mentor, he launched his third album, “Morusu,” which is self-titled. Unquestionably successful, “Morusu” brought Morusu attention at the 2009 South African Traditional Music Awards, where it won “Best Sesotho Album.” “Ha e tlale,” which is one of the album’s most notable tunes, became famous and a mainstay in Sesotho shows on radio stations in South Africa and Lesotho. Even though he is a successful musician, Morusu has a strong interest in history and spends his free time reading about different nations and their pasts.
He also hopes to write a novel, which he hopes will be made into a film or television show. In addition to his musical endeavors, Morusu broadened his creative horizons by pursuing a career in design, which he contributed to with the Young Basotho Designers Collection Class of 2024.
