Maskandi Star Mfana Wepiki returns from the hospital
Following the news of Mfana Wepiki Mhlongo who is a talented and amazing singer also known as Bobo who was hospitalized because of mob by mobs. He had a tragic encounter with his tenants which didn’t end well and received the beating of his life by angry mobs in Kagiso, Mogale City, on Sunday, on the 13 of October 2024. He was collecting rent from his tenants.
Currently, he is being discharged from the hospital after spending couples of weeks receiving treatment. According to his own information, when he got to collect his rent, he noticed that one of his tenants where missing and his rent was over due for payment. He then allegedly carried a 2 years old child who was available at the moment in exchange for the man. He said he didn’t mean harm to the child but wanted to convince the man to show up.
Upon taking the child to his car, the child’s mother then raised an alarm calling for aid. This scream attracted the attention of many. They got angry and pounced on the Bobo. During the process of the attack, he was armed. On seeing this, the angry attackers disarmed his as he attempted to fire several gunshots at them. This beating got on not until the police intervened and rescued him in the process.
This got his hospitalized and is currently discharged. He was discharged on the 21st of October 2024. His wife , Nomelungu Khumalo-Mhlongo told the news that he is not ready to be interviewed if though he is discharged. She made this statement on the 22nd of October 2024.
He was released from the hospital and is recuperating at home, I can attest to that. But he needs time to rest because he hasn’t totally healed. His memory is coming back, and his healing is encouraging. She said, “He has bruises on the top of his head and recalls the incident.” Bobo’s wife responded that they are currently focused on his rehabilitation and will consider filing charges against his attackers after he completely recovers when questioned if he planned on doing so.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson who is Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo he said on Monday, October 14, that police had filed a case including the attempted abduction and attempted murder. This came after the musician allegedly opened fire at residents in Swaneville, Kagiso, on Sunday and took the two-year-old child of the person he was demanding payment from. Lieutenant-Colonel Masondo was questioned by news on Tuesday, October 22, regarding the case’s development. He did not offer the response he had promised.
