Thwalofu is one of the popular maskandi artist. His real name is Thwalofu Khoza and is 64 years old. He hails from Empangeni, KZN South africa. Thwalofu is also known as a Chief Chakijana Biyela in his village of Obuka in Empangeni, KZN.

As an induna of Chief Chakijana Biyela in his village, he has bright light and fulfillment to the people. He is a great motivation to so many people in his village. Some even see him as a role model. Thwalofu has always being proud of becoming the people’s choice and leader as he always boost of it in public places.

The 64 years old musician has always dreamt of becoming a well known artist. This dream started at an early stage of life as he was equally surrounded with people that loves music. He got great motivation from families and friends as he embarked on his music journey. Thwalofu loves music so much and has decided never to quit from it. It gives him great joy to see people flow with his songs. He always feels fulfilled in the spirit and blessed with music. 

He once mentioned to quit music. This happened earlier last year but has currently decided not to as he claimed that old age can not make him stop his passion for music. This idea came to him after he released his 43rd album which he titled “Intencane”

Thwalofu has released a lot of amazing and mind blowing albums. His first album was in 1971 and since then, has never disappointed in releasing great hits. He has released total of 44 amazing albums. His 44th album is titled “Inhlanhla”. This album was committed towards his belief the contrary, despite his advanced age, he can still accomplish what he adores.
