BIOGRAPHY

Phuzekhemisi  which is translated as “Drink the medicine” whose real name is known Zibokwakhe Johnstone Mnyandu is a well known maskandi artist. He hails from Umkomaas KwaZulu Natal South Coast in south africa. He was born in the year “1963”. Phuzekhemisi is also acknowledged as the king of local genre called “Maskanda”.

CAREER

Phuzekhemisi started his pursuing his dream at an early stage. He got massive support from his family and also from his friends. He is a great inspiration to upcoming artists. He always gives advice concerning the growth and development of career and how to achieve them. He is also seen as a mentor to so many young ones and artists. He grew up becoming a very unique and humble man. He is so much respected.

Phuzekhemisi is also known as a neo-traditionalist. He has released so many amazing albums over the years. He once merged with his brother Khetahni to release an amazing album titled “Imbizo”. Imbizo gained a lot of streams on social media platforms. It sold over 100,000 copies over the time. He also acquired achieved double-platinum status.
