This incident happened in Cape Town. It happened between some bus riders and two passengers. They were playing Maskandi music as some riders got angry and told then to stop the music cause of noise. It was a Golden Arrow buses while traveling between Kraaifontein and Nyanga Terminus.

The two women where allegedly playing the music on Bluetooth speaker. This actually cause discomfort of other passengers as the complained about the situation. They confronted the two women and told them to stop the noise as they were feeling unease. They paid deaf eye to the complain. This attitude pissed the passengers as they started to fight.

A passenger named Scrolla stated that they tried stopping the two women and they told that they are not their parents or guidance and cannot stop them to play music and additionally the also paid for the transport fare.

Noluvo Mvandaba who is another passenger about 45 years stated that since Christians can sing on buses, then others can equally play their choice of music. Some people said

We simply need tranquility, therefore we’ve been griping about folks singing in the early hours of the morning. They claim that the devil is using us when we complain, and they don’t want prayer,” she stated.

Siko who is 40 years on age, wants all passengers who make noise to be prohibited. Perhaps the women are seeking retribution on the church women. When individuals create noise on the bus, it becomes stressful. We are unable to even consider our issues,” he stated. “We need peace, not noise from elders for everyone.” According to Bronwen Dyke-Beyer of Golden Arrow, travelers can’t disturb fellow passengers’ comfort. “Report these things to us so we can investigate and tell disruptive passengers their behavior isn’t acceptable.”
