The identical twins Virginia and Viggy Qwabe make up the South African Afro-pop group Qwabe Twins who were born in KwaZulu-Natal. They competed in the 15th season of South Africa’s Idols. They were born in the year 1997. They are apparently 26 to 27 years of age.

THEIR CAREER JOURNEY

The Gift of Love hit song by Q Twinsfirst studio album was released in 2020 after the band inked a record deal with Afrotaiment Records. Words of Hope which was released in 2022 was their second studio album appeared in South Africa at number three. Qwabe Twins participated in Idols South Africa’s 15th season in 2019. Virginia Qwabe lost the Top 5 after performing “Khona” by Mafikizolo with Uhuru. Viggy withdrew shortly after her sister was eliminated. They announced their breakout smash single “Hamba” featuring DJ Tira on November 29, 2019, shortly after they were eliminated from Idols South Africa. They also got a record deal with Afrotaiment Records. The song’s music video won an award at the 2021 Afrotaiment awards and received 5 million views on YouTube. Q Twins received a nomination for the 2020 KZN Entertainment Awards’ Newest Find category. Their song “Show Me” with Jaziel Brothers was released on September 18.Their first studio album, The Gift of Love, was released in South Africa on September 25, 2020. They got a nomination for Best Traditional House Music Song at the 15th South African Traditional Music Awards ceremony, and they earned two prizes which were Best Traditional Collaboration Song and Female Artist/Group (The Gift of Love). Their song “Ziyakhala” featuring Kabza De Small was made available in October of 2021. Words of Hope, their second studio effort was made available on November 17, 2021. It was the third-ranked album on iTunes Top Albums.

THEIR PERSONAL LIFE

Qwabe Virginia is married. Viggy who is her twin posted a photo of herself and the bride on social media alongside seasoned musician DJ Tira. She included a ring and red heart emoji in the in her social media handle while posting.
